FAQs

Incipio Ventures is a group founded in 2017 with a hybrid business model: on one hand, it is a Venture Builder that creates digital startups; on the other hand, it is an investment group that supports promising startups through capital and Smart money; and furthermore, it is a Multi-Family Office that manages family assets to grow the capital of its partners. All of this consolidates an ecosystem of both traditional companies and digital startups.

A Venture Builder is an emerging company factory that typically adapts ideas or proven business models from other markets and seeks to replicate them in new markets. As the builder of its own companies, it usually covers their rents and operational expenses, in addition to providing resources such as accounting, legal, administrative, communication, human resources, technical, and development services.

Incubators and Accelerators take in external ideas and entrepreneurs looking to create companies with their own ideas using external resources. Unlike these two models, Venture Builders are the main promoters of new companies and provide most of the necessary resources to scale them.

We create technology-based startups from proven and validated business ideas in other markets. We focus on sectors with rapid growth potential and where innovation is still possible, such as marketplaces, mobile apps, eHealth, games, fintech, big data, among others.

Our management and executive team consists of entrepreneurs, accountants, financiers, lawyers, marketers, communicators, designers, developers, and salespeople. All the necessary axes to support a company.

Our headquarters is located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and our main market is Mexico, however, our companies reach countries such as Spain and Canada.

We are always open to meeting talent, both to help grow Incipio Ventures and its companies. If you are interested, you can send your CV to Jessica Delgado, our Director of Talent & Culture: jessica.delgado@prismaic.com

Since 2017, we have grown from 8 collaborators to 71 throughout the group by the end of 2020. Our central offices have increased in size more than 4 times, the raised capital continues its monthly growth, and the paper value of our portfolio has increased by nearly 90%.

Our revenue model is divided into 4 steps:
1. Raise Capital
2. Identify Opportunity
3. Active Participation
4. Capital Distribution

We use the private equity industry’s performance metrics:
• MOIC (Multiple on Invested Capital)
• IRR (Internal Rate of Return)
• DPI (Distributions to Paid-in Capital)
• TVPI (Total Value to Paid-in Capital)

The main value that characterizes INCIPIO Ventures is its interest in contributing to achieving a better society, as well as collaborating in the development of young students or university students so that they can put into practice the theoretical knowledge of their career or study path. That is why the Changer ADN 2021 Program was created, a program of paid internships, training, and professional development where participants compete for a job offer and the opportunity to have an international experience in Canada.

At INCIPIO Ventures, we have improved the Changer Program to adapt it to the current era. We know that we are now more connected than ever. And we believe that we can become the boost that young people need to become the great professionals they have always wanted to be. We need tolerant leaders who work together to gain a new appreciation and understanding of society and culture.

The Changer ADN 2021 Program is an experience that allows young people to develop the leadership skills necessary to address current and future issues, turning them into citizens of the world and shaping them as professionals with a high level of social awareness, competitiveness, openness, readiness for globalization, and capable of leading us to a better tomorrow.
